In celebration of its 10-year anniversary, the Friends of Robert Trail Library donated a bronze sculpture on Oct. 24 to the Robert Trail Library in Rosemount. The sculpture is entitled “Best Friends Reading” and expresses the group’s mission of promoting literacy and the services of the Dakota County Robert Trail Library. The Friends started as a small group of volunteers in 2009 and have created successful partnerships with community organizations such as the Rosemount Area Arts Council, District 196 schools and Dakota County Technical College.
