The Loveland Parks and Recreation Department will work on two projects at Benson Sculpture Garden and North Lake Park over the next several weeks, according to a city news release.
Crews will demolish the Buckhorn Northern Railroad shed at North Lake Park in November, in preparation for building a new one in December.
Benson pond dredging and storm water pipe installation will begin in late October. Completion of the project is expected in late March.
Crews will remove sediment from the lower pond in Benson Sculpture Garden and do storm water drainage improvements under 29th Street.
Some areas of Benson Sculpture Garden and North Lake Park will be fenced for construction activities, but 29th Street will remain open for the duration of both projects. the release said.
