THE LIFE-SIZED BRONZE STAG WAS UNVEILED JUST A COUPLE HOURS AGO. IT’S ON A LIMESTONE BASE AND IS MEANT FOR HUMAN INTERACTION. A new sculpture unveiled in Des Moines Wednesday is meant to help revitalize the neighborhood.It’s at 42nd Street and Ingersoll Avenue. The life-sized bronze stag was unveiled Wednesday morning. It was created by acclaimed artist Larassa Kabel.It’s on a limestone base and is meant for human interaction. The artist tells us here sculpture embodies the relationship between love and loss.A public dedication is set for next spring.
